This project is\u00a0supported through the program De Facto Equal which is realized by\u00a0the <strong>Fund for Active Citizenship<\/strong>, and is financed by European\u00a0Union through the Delegation of the European Union to\u00a0Montenegro.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Specific goals of this project:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">to\u00a0initiate the process of writing\/drafting and enacting the YOUTH ACTION PLAN in\u00a0local government by organizing meetings, organizing conferences and other media\u00a0appearances, defining young people\u2019s needs, organizing campaigns and other street\u00a0activities,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">to\u00a0inform the representatives of the local government, local institutions, NGOs and\u00a0media about the importance of the enactment of YOUTH ACTION PLAN as a strategic\u00a0document for youth on the local level,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">to\u00a0empower the youth to engage in the process of initiating and writing the YAP on the\u00a0local level by organizing trainings for youth and local actions with youth in order to\u00a0induce participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Activities realized:<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">New Horizon signed an <strong>Memorandum of agreement<\/strong> with municipality of Ulcinj regarding the\u00a0writing\/drafting of YOUTH ACTION PLAN.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this meeting, New Horizon members and representatives of the municipality of Ulcinj\u00a0exchanged information and thoughts about the significance of the Youth Action Plan as\u00a0a mechanism for improving the situation of the youth in the local community. This\u00a0agreement defines the responsibilities of the parties for future activities as well as\u00a0deadlines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><p>Invalid Displayed Gallery<\/p><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">New Horizon organized a training \u2013 <strong>Youth Participation Training<\/strong>, whose goal was to\u00a0empower young people to actively participate in the community, to promote\u00a0volunteering, and to strengthen the leadership among young people. On this two\u2010day\u00a0training, the participants had the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills about\u00a0conducting surveys, public appearance, team work, as well as organizing local actions\u00a0which will animate the youth to actively engage in the process of the writing\/drafting of\u00a0YOUTH ACTION PLAN.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><p>Invalid Displayed Gallery<\/p><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Defining the young people\u2019s needs in the local community <\/strong>&#8211;<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Young people such as high school and university students, NGO activists, young people\u00a0from various political parties, young people with disabilities, young sportsmen and many\u00a0others were consulted about their needs. Their needs were based on 9 fields \u2013\u00a0education, employment, health, participation of youth in the community, human rights,\u00a0culture, informing and mobility, family, and free time.
